Together we make things better
Since Comfydence was founded in 2020, together we’ve replaced more than 25,000,000 disposable products and donated over 1 000 000 SEK to WaterAid Sweden (260615). The contribution supports their important work for clean water and against period poverty and stigma.
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You are one of those who make it possible to keep developing Comfydence and make a difference for girls, women, and the planet.

Water Aid partnership
Every day, hundreds of millions of women and girls have their period. It should be the most natural thing in the world, yet in many countries menstruation is still considered shameful and taboo.
A large number of girls are forced to leave school and marry when they begin menstruating. In some parts of the world, periods are considered so shameful that girls face discrimination and harassment.
One in three schools worldwide lacks proper toilet facilities, and as many as one in ten girls misses school during her period. Others are forced to use makeshift menstrual products such as leaves or paper in their underwear, which can lead to serious infections.
Together, We Fight Period Poverty
From our launch in December 2020 until June 15, 2026, Comfydence donated SEK 10 for every pair of underwear sold (as well as 2.5% of all other sales) directly to WaterAid – a non-profit organization carrying out vital work to improve access to clean water and sanitation around the world.
Since June 2026, Comfydence has been a Friend Company of WaterAid Sweden, supporting their important work to promote girls' rights, combat period poverty, and create better opportunities for good health and access to clean water worldwide.

We Want to Give Back
When we started Comfydence, we wanted to create a positive impact beyond helping the individuals who buy our underwear. Fighting period poverty and addressing the ways menstruation limits the lives of women and girls felt like a natural cause for us to support.
While researching the issue, we discovered WaterAid, an organization that both drives meaningful change and provides valuable educational resources about menstruation and hygiene.
When we contacted them, they were very positive about our proposal, although it was not immediately clear what a partnership would look like.
Since then, Comfydence has been evaluated according to ethical and legal standards in order to proudly call ourselves a WaterAid partner through June 2026. In addition to this assessment process, Comfydence has committed to making ongoing contributions to support WaterAid's important work.
In addition to the partnership with WaterAid, Comfydence also supports other initiatives aimed at combating period poverty.
LINFs / Sierra Leone
Comfydence donated panties to the organisation LINF’s project in the village of Ropolon, Sierra Leone. The village is very poor, and the children walk 40 minutes each way to the school in the neighbouring village. There is no sewage system in either the village or the school.
Here’s what Emma from the organisation LINF (Lindholmen International Association) says:
"Thanks to your generous contribution, a whole group of girls can now attend school every day of the month! Last year, we let a few girls try the panties, and it was a great success. Imagine not having to worry — what an obvious right that should be for girls everywhere! This year, those girls became ambassadors and explained the concept to the ones who received panties this year."
Mama Norah / Kenya
Comfydence donated period panties to the girls in grade 8 at the Mama Norah Education Centre in Kenya. Here’s what the organisation’s representative, Nina Ploen Stenström, says:
"Your contribution has not only brought joy and enabled the girls to pursue their education without obstacles, but it has also given us deep insights into what it’s like to be a young girl in Kenya. Your donation has truly touched our hearts and created meaningful change for these girls. Thank you for your wonderful support and for helping make the world a better place for them."
