Find your period panties in three simple steps
Comfydence period panties absorb menstruation, discharge, or sweat and feel just as comfortable as regular panties. The panties can fully replace disposable protection and can usually be worn for up to 24 hours before it’s time to change. Because the materials breathe, the surface feels dry and unpleasant odors are prevented.

To help you feel confident trying our panties, we always offer a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee on one item.

Here are some easy steps to find the panties that fit you best.

1. Choose your absorbency level
Absorbent panties can be used for everything from light discharge to heavy periods.
Use the guide below to first find which absorption level suits your needs.

If you’re unsure, we recommend starting with panties with ultra- or super-absorbency. With those, you can feel secure for longer regardless of flow.

If you have very heavy periods lasting several days, we always recommend consulting a gynecologist or doctor for an examination. Learn more about when to contact healthcare at 1177.se

2. Choose your size
Our period panties come in Swedish sizes from 4XS (140 cm) to 5XL. We use several terms for each size for extra clarity. Available sizes vary by model. Sizes can also differ slightly between models depending on, for example, how much the fabric stretches and the stretch of the protection. Detailed info & a size guide can be found on each product page. Measure your hip circumference (where you’re widest over hips & backside) and compare it with the guide. You can also see the panty’s measurements in cm and compare them with your own panties (e.g., roughly how high the panty will sit).

3. Choose your style
Pick a style you like and a material you feel comfortable in. Sporty cotton panties, shiny thong, or real hip-huggers? Comfydence period panties always have organic cotton closest to the body’s most sensitive areas.

What do the drop symbols mean?
The drops correspond to the symbols you usually see on tampons, pads, and liners. They indicate how much liquid the material can absorb. Choose absorption level based on your flow. If unsure, we recommend choosing the same level you use on other protection, or pick the highest level to feel secure for longer.

Light – two drops
For light periods, discharge, or occasional spotting.
A good complement to tampons/menstrual cups. Comparable to liners or thin pads.

Medium – three drops
For light to moderate periods and heavy discharge.
Comparable to pads or tampons with three drops designed for normal flow.

High – four drops
For moderate to heavy flow.
Effectively absorbs moisture and odor in a core of microfiber and cotton.

Super – five drops
For heavy to very heavy flow.
These models have two layers of microfiber protection that absorb and keep you dry.

Ultra – six drops
For very heavy flow.
The most absorbent models have two layers of microfiber and protection that extends fully across the front and back.

Some common questions:

How long can I wear a panty without changing?
You can wear the same panty for up to 24 hours. It depends on the situation, flow intensity, and absorption level. At first, it’s good to check a bit to learn what the panty can handle and what you feel comfortable with. A panty with super- or ultra-absorbency often stays dry for a full day or night (8–24 hours). A panty with lower absorbency suits lighter flow or if you have the opportunity to change during the day.

Can period panties replace other menstrual products?
Absolutely – for most people, period panties can fully replace other protection. But they can also be used as extra security if you, for example, use a menstrual cup.

How many panties do I need?
How many you want depends on how many days you use them, how often you want to change, and how often you can wash. Many find that 3 to 6 panties work well as the sole menstrual protection through a full cycle.

How do I know what absorption I need?
We recommend starting with panties with ultra- or super-absorbency. After a few uses, you’ll get to know your flow and can then supplement with panties with lower protection for lighter days.

How much do the panties absorb?
It’s not easy to answer exactly. The amount they absorb depends on whether it all comes at once or over time, and if it’s concentrated in one spot or spread out. Therefore, we don’t specify milliliters, but guide you with the number of drops that you can compare to drops on disposable protection.

Can period panties be used with a menstrual cup?
Yes! They can replace pads, liners, tampons, or menstrual cups. They can also be worn as a backup on days you want extra security — for example, if you don’t feel confident that the menstrual cup sits perfectly or worry a pad might slip.

How have you tested the panties and absorption?
We’ve tested every absorbent panty available. We’ve examined them, worn them, pressure-tested with liquid, and evaluated the construction. We then developed our own models with materials and function that meet our high standards. All Comfydence models have undergone forced liquid absorption tests and live testing on real women’s bodies. We’re super proud of our own styles and are working to soon offer an even larger range and more variety.
