Hello. We're Linda and Anna, and together we founded Comfydence. We know a lot about the horror of leaving blood stains on conference room chairs, the chafing of moving pads and panty liners, and the hassle of changing pads in simple public restrooms.

We've been there, and unfortunately, we're not alone. Our experiences of protection failing or the shame of having your period come unexpectedly are why Comfydence was created. The two of us have different backgrounds and motivations – but we share the vision that women should feel comfortable and confident in their bodies. Every day. Linda Stoltzhammar Comfydence

Here's what Linda says: "I have a history of leaving some unpleasant traces behind me, I have had more or less dramatic leaks , in panties, on sheets, the seat of a commuter train… to name a few. What is common to all of them is that I have felt guilt and shame. Crying and pulling the covers over my head when I could. In my case, no one else has tried to make me feel ashamed, but my self-esteem has still taken a real hit.

These tracks and a desire to make a difference – is my why...

At school I was often told that Linda rhymes with pad. I don't know if it's because of that, or because pads are so uncomfortable, which has made me use tampons more. I have a personal goal of "Freedom in everyday life" - that's something I really experience with Comfydence. Then I think about how it's become my job and that the panties have replaced most of the pads, panty liners and tampons that I used before.

I hope to contribute to an easier and freer everyday life for many more women out there! Come on, give it a try?”

anna hellström comfort This is what Anna says:
"I remember my teenage years with periods with horror. How difficult it was to talk about periods, the constant worry about bleeding through and the mess of using menstrual protection in different situations. When my daughter, Elsa, became a teenager, all of this came back to me.

Elsa played soccer in white team shorts and often came home in despair with blood stains on her soccer shorts, but I couldn't help her. The pad would move when she played sports and there seemed to be no other option but to start with tampons. But then we tried "period panties" by chance and were completely sold. No stains, no leaks, no problem changing among others and no stains in bed. We were completely sold! Right then and there I understood that there was actually an opportunity to help girls, women, ladies and aunties with similar problems and the same despair.

My driving force is to be able to develop and offer protection that women want, like and feel comfortable in.

If we can offer products that make life a little easier and also have a more positive impact from a sustainability perspective – then we have succeeded.”

It's time we start talking openly and honestly about women's bodies. It's time for solutions that help us in our everyday lives and contribute to a sustainable lifestyle.
